Dear parents and campers attending the East West Field Hockey Camp at Worcester, July 12th – 15th.

The information that follows will answer questions you will have or had regarding camp.


Please read this information carefully, print it if you would like to refer back to. If there is something that is missing or needs clarification pleases contact me and I will answer it.



MEDICAL information:

I have gone through all the registrations and there are a few medical forms missing, that is ok, don’t panic, bring it.  Photo copy the most recent physical form and bring it with you to registration. If you are sending your daughter with another parent or grandparent make sure they have all the missing items.

The dorm is called Wasylean Residence Hall

I will be on campus and you might want to call me when you get lost, please remember, I am not from that area and I have a terrible sense of direction.

The campus has changed a great deal since the last time I was there. The best way to get to the dorm, once on campus, is ask for the police station and we will be housed in the same dorm they are located. (top of campus. Note: you must go up a hill to get to the dorm)


Check in will start at 1 pm.

Check in will go for an hour so there is no need to call me if you are going to be there between 1 and 2.  There is also NO NEED to get there before 1. If you need to drop off a camper before 1, please contact me so that we can make arrangements.


 
BEFORE you check in:

Eat lunch!!! The first meal served is dinner. There is a subway and other places to eat to the left, as you exit the campus.


The field:

It is a turf field, cross trainer are the best shoes, in my opinion and long cleats are the worst. Bring what you have and see which works best for you. Remember, new shoes = blisters!

Money: If you want something from the camps store and if you want to by food to be delivered at night bring $. You will be hungry at night, dinner is served very early!

No goggles are required at camp!!!

The dorm is air-conditioned and each suite has a good size refrigerator

Bedding  (sheets, blankets, pillow and towels) or sleeping bag

Something warm to wear at night (sweat top and bottom)

Running shoes for optional morning runs
